Emergency First Aid at Work

This first aid course, previously known as the One Day Appointed Persons Course, is ideal for small businesses or individuals who wish to appoint a person to deal with first aid emergencies. An Appointed Person is able to take charge of a medical emergency when the situation arises. This one day course is comprehensive and gives an over view of the most common problems faced in the work place. There will be plenty of hands on practical work such as learning how to do cardiopulmonary resuscitation, place someone in the recovery position, apply a bandage, use a burns dressing correctly. All these conditions listed will be informative and teach you the latest methods of treatment by a first aider.

On completion of the course the certificate is valid for three years.
